What is the maximum rebate?
The scheme will be open to individual homeowners with a combined household income below $180,000 a year, with approved batteries to be supplied by approved installers.
- If the taxable income of the income earner for the application is under $66,667 the rebate is $4,000.
- If the taxable income of the income earner for the application is over $66,667 and up to $180,000 is $3,000.
Depending on the size and specifications of your battery installation, this could equate to roughly a 50% saving at the point of sale.
This initiative will go a long way into helping Queensland achieve it’s new emissions reduction target of -75% by 2035 ⚡
